Dr. Phyllis J. Walker
Dr. Phyllis J. Walker is an advocate for operational effectiveness and purposeful educational leadership. With more than twenty years of experience across higher education and secondary school environments—both public and private—she understands that effectiveness is never accidental. It is the result of strategic planning, intentional practice, meaningful assessment, and thoughtful alignment with established standards.
She currently serves as Associate Dean for the College of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities at Florida A&M University, where she supports academic program reviews, strategic planning initiatives, curriculum development, institutional assessment, and accreditation processes.
Dr. Walker is deeply passionate about equipping Christ-centered educational leaders to operate with clarity, alignment, and faith-based integrity. She believes that what we teach, how we teach, and why we teach must reflect the culture of Heaven. Education shapes how people think, live, and build—and therefore shapes culture itself. When minds are renewed, systems shift. When systems shift, societies are transformed.
Her calling is to guide that transformation by helping school founders, administrators, and educational leaders design and sustain learning environments that cultivate Kingdom-minded thinking and practice—shaping generations of graduates who will influence culture for the glory of God.
Phyllis Walker Consulting seeks to advance a transformative Christian educational system throughout Florida by helping K–12 private Christian schools align their operations, curriculum, and learning environments with God’s Kingdom purpose, principles, values, and truth.
